this game is a demo made for the metroidvenia month game jam. This is an unfinished demo, and I will make this a full game in the future, but this is what I managed to make in the month I had.

Another thing is that there are no "saves" for the game, the save spots are for respawning and healing, but the game is short anyway so it doesn't really matter.

The random stopping of motion makes it very difficult to do the platforming parts.  I never know if I'll be able to make a jump each time or if it will stop part-way, despite not holding down the left-arrow or D key steadily.

Awesome art style and great feeling movement!

Didn't complete the game, but it is a really cool game. It has music, good gameplay and a very cool art style. This is definitely one of the best games of this game jam

This was fun! Very charming style and interesting mechanics. I will be excited to see where you take this!

Minor feedback as you move to develop past this jam version:

> Wall jump? Swinging the paperclip after jumping while pressing movement into a wall seems to reset the ground detection, allowing the player to jump again. This wall jump is actually pretty easy and fun to pull off, but I don't think it was an intended game mechanic.

> Spider boss gets a tad repetitive. I did like its mechanics, pretty fun, but with only two moves it did end up dragging on for awhile. Maybe give it less cycles, or add more moves to keep it interesting?

> The string lasso was really fun but a bit hard to 'grab' at first. This is fine, but you could also let the lasso fire out directionally towards the closest pin if one is within range for faster gameplay.

Overall great work for a jam game! I'll be following.

I love this art style! It's so cute! Unfortunately, the game doesn't work for me. I can turn left or right and jump, but I can't move at all. :/

It's difficult to make jumps when the left-right motion will stop during jumps, despite holding the keys down the entire time.
