windows version plzzz

Super Nice! The enemies are very interactive and the boss is really cool. Especially the spike floor move is super satisfying to double jump over

Fun game! The concept of adding colors is super cool. If you tighten the character control and expand this game, you can totally sell it on steam.

Very neat! Any chance we'll get a downloadable version?

Beat it without attacking any enemies other than the boss. Platforming and the combat versus the boss were fun.  Boss took a couple tries because I had to unlearn adjusting for knockback from Hollow Knight et al.  Boss was quite well designed.  I would say the level layout could use some work; it was always a bit obvious where I should go next and that felt a bit against the spirit of a metroidvania.  Also the ledge grab felt a bit inconsistent at times but I think it's probably just some detail of the mechanics I am missing. Art redesigns after getting powerups were very good.  Would have liked the enemies to get upgrades after each powerup, rather than (it seemed) one upgrade each.

But, after all my below frustrations, excellent game!!! Plenty of juice for a much bigger game I would say!

Really, really nice game. Music is super atmospheric, gameplay and controls are really fluent. The only thing that annoys me a lot currently is that there is no save point (yet) in the blue area, whenever I die I have to do the whole thing again after the green save, feels way too long for that.

Edit: Got a bit further, and it, really, really, really is frustratingly long before there is a save point. So much to the point I'm almost giving up, because it really sucks. Sorry for the rant ;-)

Edit: An on top of this all, save doesn't work in between game sessions .... ugh ...

Thank you! The issue with the blue area came up on playtesting as well but unfortunately it was way too late to make significant changes. Saving between sessions also had to be unfortunately scrapped as we were too close to the deadline. Still, thank you for making it that far, we were sure most people would quit before then.

Update: We are adding another save point to the blue area lol, an updated version will be out by the time the jam ends.

Thanks for the reply! And I made it through nevertheless, but indeed, adding that save point will probably make new players less frustrated :-)

Ok made it through to the end of the yellow area, also giving me a hard time, but do feel I will be able to beat it. I do suggest however to ... spoiler below ...

To make the field of view bigger. Quite frequently the boss is off-screen, disabling you from seeing him signalling his attack. After trying dozens of times the off-screen is really causing unnecessary hits, frustratingly enough. Other than that the boss seems reasonably tough, apart from the off-screen bit.

If you turn sound on you can hear him rev the chainsaw, I think.

I had a good time playing this; impressed by the music and the visuals. You could definitely build upon this into a full game.
